The DIM11STEP is a low voltage 12V or 24V PWM lamp and LED one-touch dimmer module controlled by a single external momentary switch.
The module operates from a 12V or 24V supply (9-32V operating range) and can control up to 10A (120W at 12V, or 240W at 24V) of LED, tungsten or halogen lighting
Connections to the DIM11STEP are shown in the Connection Diagram section. The Switch input should be switched to positive through a suitable momentary pushbutton switch (available separately). This single switch completely controls the dimmer operation - with each activation of the switch the brightness cycles to Bright -> Brighter -> Brightest -> Off.
If power to the module is lost, the current brightness setting is stored for retrieval next time. The last-saved brightness level and on/off state are recalled when power to the unit is first applied. This ensures the current brightness level is not lost when power is removed, and any power glitches to the unit will not cause the lamp to suddenly change brightness or state.
The Control pushbutton can be any momentary pushbutton switch, or relay contact. The DIM11STEP is supplied without a switch, and a selection of pushbuttons is available separately from Abeltronics.
