All orders placed are subject to these conditions of sale and the placing of an order shall be considered to be acceptance of these conditions. Abeltronics is subject to UK law. These terms do not affect your statutory rights. Please contact us before placing your order if you wish to discuss anything pertaining to these terms.

Prices

Prices are subject to change without notice and are those ruling at the time you place your order. Current pricing can be found on the relevant product page or by contacting us directly. All prices are in GBP (UK Pounds Sterling or £).

Payment

All goods and shipping costs must be paid for in full prior to despatch unless you hold a pre-arranged credit account with us. Please contact us to apply for a credit account. Payment methods currently accepted include the following;

  • Credit or Debit Card - Online payments are processed on our behalf by PayPal upon completion of checkout. We do not currently accept Credit Card payments over the telephone
  • Paypal - Our checkout system accepts PayPal by default
  • Wire Transfer / BACS - Account details can be provided on request upon placement of order
  • Cheque - Made payable to 'Abeltronics Ltd', and sent to the address on our contact page

VAT

Prices shown include UK VAT at the current rate, if stated as such. For export orders being delivered outside the UK, prices do not include local VAT, import duty or customs fees. You will likely need to pay additional import charges to receive UK products from any country outside the UK. These charges are levied by your local government and vary from country to country. For UK orders a VAT receipt will be sent with your order, for export orders a commercial invoice will be sent with the order. Our VAT number is GB142837018.

Delivery

The delivery time is estimated during the checkout process according to your chosen shipping method and can be found by hovering your mouse over the relevant 'info' label. Delivery times are estimates only, and may be subject to change. Abeltronics shall not be liable for consequential loss or damage, in respect of delayed deliveries due to any reason, and however caused. Items sent by Royal Mail are subject to Royal Mail's terms and conditions, and items sent by other courier are subject to the respective courier's terms and conditions. Royal Mail state that items sent first class within the UK, or internationally via Airmail, can take up to 15 working days to arrive. Please see below for a list of our delivery partners.

We aim to despatch all orders of in-stock products same day, and non-stock items within 6 working days, subject to availability. If we anticipate an order taking longer than this, we will inform you.

If you have concerns about a delivery please email us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

All prices quoted on this site exclude delivery unless otherwise stated. It is recommended that goods are fully inspected upon delivery or signed for as UNCHECKED. Shortages and/or transit damage must be signed for as such on the delivery paperwork, and notified in writing or by e-mail to us within two days of delivery. Claims beyond this period can not be entertained. Collections are permitted from our premises by prior arrangement.

As part of our commitment to the environment, the majority of our packaging, including boxes, jiffy bags and filler material, is recycled and/or recyclable.

Our delivery partners are Royal Mail, Fedex, UPS, TNT and DPD.

Returns

Items returned as 'not required' must be received by us within 14 days of the date of purchase, and will only be accepted if in new, unused condition, with original, clean packaging and within the manufacturer's guarantee. The purchaser is responsible for any and all shipping costs. We will not refund at all for any goods which have been used or soiled in any way, and return shipping back to the customer will be chargeable at the approprite rate. Items manufactured or sourced to a customer's specification, or otherwise marked as non-cancellable non-returnable (NCNR) cannot be returned for credit unless they are suspected to be faulty.

Items returned as faulty within the manufacturer's guarantee period must be returned to us for testing and evaluation. If found faulty, and if the product was used in accordance with the manufacturer's specification, the product will be replaced or refunded immediately. Any reasonable return shipping costs will be reimbursed to the purchaser. If the suspect product is tested and found not to be faulty, we will re-deliver the goods to the customer and charge for re-shipping.

Under all circumstances, please ensure returned goods are sent by signed courier or Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. We will not be responsible for any returned items lost in transit.

Warranty

All products manufactured by Abeltronics include our 3-year standard warranty. Any products alleged as warranty failures should be returned to us for testing and evaluation in accordance with the above 'Returns' section.

For third party products, or those not manufactured by Abeltronics, warranty offered is that of the manufacturer, with a minimum statutory period of 12 months, and shall be limited to repair or replacement of the item as advised by the manufacturer. Any products alleged as warranty failures should be returned to us for testing and evaluation in accordance with the 'Returns' section.

Prior to return of any products, customers should contact us to discuss the problem, and if necessary obtain the required returns authorisation number, which must accompany the returned goods. No responsibility is accepted for consequential or liquidated damages in the event of product failure.

The liability of Abeltronics rests solely with the products, goods or services, as sold under these terms, under all circumstances. No responsibility will be accepted for any consequential loss or damages resulting from the use of, misuse of, failure to use, or inability to use, any of our products, goods or services. We will not be liable for any, loss, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages of any nature including, without limitation, business interruption costs, removal and/or reinstallation costs, reprocurement costs, loss of profit or revenue, loss of data, promotional or manufacturing expenses, overhead, injury to reputation or loss of customers, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Title

Title of the goods shall pass from Abeltronics to the purchaser upon full payment of all monies due. Cheque payments will be required to clear and will usually do so within 5 working days of receipt of the cheque, but this may take longer. In the event of a Credit Card charge-back or Cheque refusal for whatever reason, and should payment not be resubmitted within a reasonable period of time, Abeltronics reserves the right to withold goods or to re-possess the associated goods by any means necessary within UK law.

Information and Specifications

Information and specifications, including photographs, drawings, diagrams and datasheets, published by Abeltronics are given in good faith, but in line with our philosophy of continuous improvement, Abeltronics reserves the right to alter specifications from time to time and without notice. All product images contained within this website, or linked from it, are representative only. We endeavour to update our online documentation as soon as any changes are made, and we will usually send the most current datasheet or product information with your order.

Abeltronics, at the request of a customer may, but without being under any obligation to do so, furnish additional technical advice otherwise outside the scope of the applicable product datasheet or information, with reference to the use of the product sold hereunder, but on the express understanding that any such advice or assistance is given and accepted at the customer's risk and Abeltronics shall not be liable for any loss, damage or claims arising from the use of such advice or assistance.

Import Duties

The recipient of any exported goods will be responsible for the paying of any Import Duty, Local Sales Tax, VAT, and/or Customs handling charges that are due when the goods enter the country of destination.

Products and Services

The products and services of Abeltronics are not authorised to be used in safety critical applications, including, but not limited to, life support systems, medical instrumentation, rocketry or space systems, nuclear power or weapons applications, offshore or onshore oil and/or gas installations, or any application where life or safety can be compromised by the product's failure, without express written permission of a party authorised to act on behalf of Abeltronics.

WEEE

Abeltronics Limited is registered with the Environment Agency, as a producer of EEE under the EU WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directive, 2002/96/EC. Products marked with the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol must not be committed to landfill at the end of their life. Please contact us to dispose of any end-of-life products manufactured by us, we will collect the WEEE and recycle the raw materials at our own cost. This applies only to nations within the EU covered by the WEEE Directive.

Abeltronics Limited is registrerd with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier.
